For this and other reasons I drifted away from acting and set up my own flower business, supplying offices and doing wedding and event flowers. Gradually though, I began to realise I loved the rehearsal process way more than the performances and was becoming increasingly bothered by stage fright. I came to voice acting quite late in life.Īfter leaving university (many moons ago) I set out to become an actor and succeeded for a good few years. I work extensively across many genres bringing corporate scripts to life, engaging students on e-learning courses, informing gallery visitors through audio guides, soothing the restless to sleep with insomnia apps, or thrilling and entertaining as video game characters - I currently voice Sienna Fuegonasus, a slightly unhinged pyromancer in the ongoing Warhammer videogames Vermintide The End Times and Vermintide 2. I can have remotely directed sessions via Source Connect or Clean Feed or will self-direct and include a round of pick-ups in my fee for any changes in tone or pace required. When not recording in town, I work from my acoustically treated Studiobricks booth using the latest Protools software, Audient interface and an SE Electronics large diaphragm condenser microphone. My tone is rich, deep and husky with a neutral RP British accent (although the odd squished vowel might reveal I was born and grew up in Chester in the N West of England).
